An European Industrial Doctorate offering excellent training opportunities

The development of greener, cheaper, and safer rechargeable batteries is considered today a goal of strategic importance for several sectors such as transportation. Currently, one of the most important types of rechargeable batteries is Li-ion batteries.

New polymer electrolytes compatible with advanced electrode materials, lithium polymer protective layers and new dual ionic/eletronic polymer binders are essential to develop compact, secure, lightweight, high performance and flexible batteries.

The POLYTE-EID team propose an innovative research training programme for three
