POLYTE - EID
Innovative POLYmers for Lithium Battery TEchnologies
European Industrial Doctorate
Marine graduated at the Engineering School of Chemistry & Physics of Bordeaux, France (ENSCBP) , with a specialization in Materials and Composites.

She made a 6 month-placement under the supervision of Dr. Yuki Katoh in Toyota Motor Europe research center (Belgium). She synthetized and characterized inorganic solid electrolytes for Li ion batteries. She also had the opportunity to study formulation & processing of polyphatalamides designed for automotive and electronics applications, thanks to a 5 month-internship within Arkema K.K (Japan).

Afterwards, she got her Master degree's thesis at the ICMCB institute (University of Bordeaux). Her work focused on composite materials and their improvement by post extrusion. This project led to a new scientific colloboration between the University of Bordeaux (France) and the University of Waterloo (Canada).

MARINE LECHARTIER
Soline earned his Bachelor degree in Chemistry in Nancy (France) and his Master degree in Polymers for Advanced Technologies at the University of Grenoble-Alpes in Grenoble (France).

She did her master project at Les Laboratoires Brothier, a French pharmaceutical company, where she worked on the development of bio-active dressing of potentially infected wounds.

In addition, she also completed an University Degree entitled "University-Company" in which she worked during 6 months in Stockholm University (Sweden). Her project focused on the development of cellulose nano-biocomposite based foams for water purification.

Then she worked as a research engineer at the Laboratory of Physicochemical of Polymers and Interfaces (LPPI) in the University of Cergy-Pontoise (France). This project is a collaboration with Nexter Systems, Direction Générale de l'Armement and LPPI. She worked on the production and characterization of electroactive polmers materials for the camouflage.

SOLINE VAUTHIER
Marta joined POLYMAT after receiving her BEng and MEng in Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) and the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden).

During her time at KTH she worked on sol-gel chemistry, receiving a technical research award (Best Master Thesis, Cátedra Cémex - UPV) and an article publication at 'Arquitectura viva' magazine.

In addition to her studies, Marta worked at TWI Ltd, an R&D center in Cambridge (UK). During this time, she gained experience on developing and managing European public funded projects.

She is co-author of the patent application 'Functionalisation Method for Metal Oxide Particles' (GB1521301.0).
